Note on Husband: John Thomas Cotton

John is a bit of an enigma. On the marriage certificate his father is given as a deceased sanitary inspector, but seems to be present on the 1939 register. No trace can be found of John's birth or death, is the aged of 19 on the marriage certificate wrong? but it does agree with 1911 census. He was not with the family in the 1921 census
