Prior to marrying Spencer, Ettie had a son, Charles Edward Read (1914-1998) but we cannot be sure Spencer was the father. After Spencer was killed during WWI Ettie married Archibald Henry Cooper "Archie" (1894-1969) in Bosmere registration district in 192113 14 15
