Emma continued to live at Buxhall, although towards the end of her life she moved to Gt. Finborough to live with her daughter and son-in-law Rose Anna and Maurice Rowe. Keith Evans mother, Emma's great granddaughter, remembers her well.
Ann previously married Charles Codd in Onehouse on 27th October 1828. Charles was convicted in 1831 of sheep stealing, sentenced to death then transported to Australia in 1832. Ann presumably waited the seven years before marrying Edward, but it appears that she lied about her age and father's name, presumably to cover up her past42 43 44 45 46
