Ex Sylvia HENDERSON (Letter R176 P48) - Freddie and his sisters Hilda and Elsie were like brother and sisters to Sylvia's mother. In the first World War when Freddie was a small child he used to copy the 'Boys in Blue' (Wounded Soldiers) and limp with a stick so much so he had to have corrective treatment for a limp. In the second World War he served in the Middle East. He died in about 1981 or 1982. Freddie had four boys by his first wife who died of cancer. Told by Gladys POCOCK née BOUCHARD.
